Enniskerry Tennis Club is the perfect spot, whether you’re picking up a racket for the first time or you’ve been playing for years! 💥 Courts and CoffeeJoin us in four weeks’ time on Sunday the 29th for our next Courts and Coffee. Meet at 14:30 for some tennis action and stick around at 16:00 for coffee and a chat. It’s the perfect mix of exercise and socialising! 💥 Adult Social Tennis Mondays and ThursdaysCome down on Mondays and Thursdays for a fantastic social hit-out:🕡 18:30–20:00 for rusties and improvers🕗 20:00–21:30 for intermediate players and upAll are welcome – members and non-members who wish to try out tennis can just walk-in during the social tennis times! 💥 Wednesday Night Beginners NightOur Wednesday night sessions are all about getting new players on court. From 19:00–21:00, Courts 1 & 2 are reserved exclusively for beginners – no need to book, just turn up! Our experienced members often pop by to share a few tips and a bit of encouragement, so it’s a perfect chance to learn and make some friends. Over half of our club are friendly beginners or improvers, so you’ll fit right in! To make things even easier, our booking system is easily accessible via your phone browser 👉 ClubManager 365 App. If you’re looking for coaching, our Club coach is David Fahy and he provides personal and group coaching on Mondays and Wednesdays. What an incredible day for tennis! Our Tennis Open Day was a resounding success, filled with energy, laughter, and the unmistakable sound of rackets meeting balls under the summer sun. The weather couldn’t have been better! Fun and Games for All Ages From the moment the gates opened, the courts buzzed with excitement. We kicked things off with a variety of tennis games designed for all skill levels and ages. Whether you were picking up a racket for the first time or dusting off old skills, there was something for everyone to enjoy. The atmosphere was welcoming and inclusive, with plenty of smiles all around. Coaching with Jamie A highlight of the day was the coaching sessions led by Jamie & his team. His enthusiasm and expertise brought out the best in players young and old. Jamie’s tips and encouragement helped boost confidence and improve technique-many participants left the court feeling inspired and eager to keep playing. Fresh Fruit and Ice Cream Treats No summer event is complete without some delicious refreshments. Throughout the day, everyone enjoyed fresh fruit and ice cream, providing the perfect way to cool down and recharge between matches. The treats were a big hit, especially with the younger players! Historic Round Robin Tournament This year, we proudly hosted our first round robin tournament in over a decade. The competitive spirit was alive and well as players battled it out in friendly matches. The round robin format gave everyone a chance to play multiple games and meet new opponents, fostering camaraderie and sportsmanship. Celebrating Our Winners After an afternoon of thrilling matches, it was time to celebrate our winners. Congratulations to all who took part-the level of play was impressive, and every participant contributed to the fantastic atmosphere. Huge congratulations to the winning team made up by Belinda and Aengus! The winners received their well-deserved recognition, but the real victory was the sense of community and fun that everyone shared. A Heartfelt Thank You from Conor As the sun began to set, Conor gathered everyone together to offer a heartfelt thank you. He expressed his gratitude to all the players, families, volunteers, and supporters who made the day possible. It was a true team effort, and the success of the event was a testament to our wonderful tennis community. Thank you to everyone who joined us for this memorable day. We can’t wait to see you all back on the courts soon-here’s to many more successful tennis events in the future!
