Club Rules – Enniskerry Tennis Club

We are open for new members who can apply via our website. People are welcome to use the courts in the Bog Meadow subject to the following rules:

The game of tennis shall be played according to the rules laid down by the Lawn Tennis Association of Ireland.
Only tennis shoes be worn on court; no person shall be allowed play except in rubber-soled shoes without spikes or heels.
Courts are for tennis and pickleball only and no other activities shall be permitted on the courts.
If there are members waiting to play, no court may be occupied past the existing booking.
Chewing gum, pets, football and other sporting activities are strictly prohibited on the courts.
Professional coaching is not permitted at any time without the expressed permission of the Enniskerry Tennis Club committee.
Take your rubbish with you or dispose of it in the bins outside the courts.
You will be responsible for any damage you incur to the court.
The Committee shall have the right to reserve any court for the purpose of playing tournament matches or any other purpose needed.

We are a community-based tennis club run by volunteers and ask for your co operation in relation to the above rules.

Managed Access | Access to Non-Members

Our courts operate under a managed access policy. This is for both protecting the surfaces and for insurance reasons. Access is available via a gate with key code. All members have access to the accesscode which will be changed on a regular basis.

Non-member residents of Enniskerry may book a court at no cost by making contact with the club via email to enniskerrytennisclub@gmail.com. Non-Members must register to play for insurance reasons. Those who can afford it are encouraged to donate a €5 per booking.

A ‘Pay to Play’ option for all other visitors is detailed on our website. For other visitors a per court rental fee of €10 per person must be paid before commencing play.

Please note that walk-ons will not always be possible as we are a community-based tennis club run by volunteers and ask for your co operation in relation to our availability to provide unscheduled access.
